The noise Pollution law

In this law following areas are mentioned
The ambient air quality standards in respect of noise for different areas/zones shall be such as specified in the schedule in the law under these rules.
(1)- The state government should catagerize the areas into industrial, commerical, residential silence areas /zones for the purpose of the implimentation of noise standard for differenr areas.
(2)- The government shall take measures for abatement of noise including noise emanating from vehicular movements and ensure that the existing noise level does not exeeds the ambient air Quality standard specified in the rules.
(3)- All development outhorities, local bodies and all concerned authorities while planning developmental activities or carrying out functions relating to town or country planning shall take into consideration all aspects of the noise pollution as a parameter for the Quality of Life to avoid noise menace and to achieve the objective of maintaning Ambient air quality standards in respect of noise.
(4)- an area comprising not less than 100 meters around hospitals, Educational institutions and Courts may be declared as silence areas/zones for the purpose of these rules.
