Principles of road safty provision are necessary.
Driving offences.
causind deaths by reckless driving, driving carelessly and inconsiderate driving.
Motor Vehicles : Drink and Drugs.
driving or bing incharge, when under influence of drink or drug. driving or being incharge of motor vehicle with alcohol concentration above the prescribed level all this comes under crime.
Motor racing and Motoring Events on Public ways.
Motor racing on public ways comes uder some rules. Regulation of motoring events on public ways requires some Protective measures such as seat belts, helmets, etc. Seat belts.
Restriction on carrying children not wearing seat belts in motor vehicles is necessary. Wearing of protective headgear. Protective helmets for motor cyclists. Authorization of head-worn appliances for use on motor cycles, these are most important things and must be hold during driving.
cycling Offences and Cycling racing.
Such actions must be strictly prohibited e.g Reckless cycling, Careless, and inconsiderate, cycling. Cycling when under influence of drink or drugs. Regulation of cycle racing on public ways is necessary and Electrically assisted pedal cycles require some guiding principles.
use of Motor Vehicles away from roads.
Strictly Control of use of footpaths and bridleways for motor vehicle trials. Prohibition of driving motor vehicles elsewhere than on roads is most important.
Promotion of road safty.
The Highway Code are to be displayed on highways. Duty of Secretary of State and local authorities as to giving road safety information and training to common people. Powers of Secretary of State to subsidies bodies other then local authorities for giving road safety information and training.
